What the camera captures
Sense square only works when you open a session from Try it. The camera captures what your phone points at, and the microphone captures what you say.
What leaves your device
During an active session, video frames, audio, and your spoken requests go to OpenAI for processing so the service can describe the scene and answer you. Bystanders, screens, documents, or private spaces may be captured if they are in frame.
What sense square stores
No account is required. The Sense square server does not store video, audio, image frames, transcripts, or session history. There are no analytics cookies or advertising cookies.
How to stop
Close the tab or end the browser session. Camera and microphone access stops when the tab is closed.
